$2.716 Million Trade Training Centre for Local Schools
This morning, Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard announced the successful Round Two applications for Trade Training Centres.
St Joseph’s College is pleased to announce that St Joseph’s College Albany, with its partner school, the Australian Christian College Southlands, will receive $2.716m for the construction of a purpose built Trade Training Centre.
St Joseph’s College Principal, Bradley Hall said he was very pleased with the announcement. Mr Hall said the Trade Training Centre would be a welcome addition to the schools and the range of courses the schools would be able to offer. Skills acquired at this centre would be beneficial to the economy of the Great Southern Region.
Construction is expected to begin early in 2010.
