Year Twelve Graduation

Our Year Twelve students celebrated the conclusion of their secondary education on Wednesday with several events. The day commenced with a cooked breakfast consisting of pancakes, bacon and eggs. Later there was a very entertaining game of Big Base Softball between the students and staff which the entire student body from Pre-Primary to Year Twelve enjoyed. In the evening there was a formal graduation liturgy in the Holy Family Church. This was a lovely ceremony which was enhanced by the presence of parents, friends and staff. Incorporated into this ceremony was the presentation of the St Joseph’s Cups to the graduands which is a departing tradition. A supper prepared by the Year Eleven students and photo show then occurred in the Junior School Undercover area. A well-deserved thank you is extended to a number of staff for the many extra hours that went in to making this final day for Year Twelve so enjoyable!

I was extremely proud of the way our Year Twelve students concluded their time at St Joseph’s College. Their departure included a high level of respect and dignity for all in our community and for this reason the parents of the students should be very proud of their sons and daughters. Congratulations to our graduating students: Paige Aggiss, Hamish Anderson, Rebecca Berg, Chloe Bickerdike, Hannah Bond, James Bott, Renee Channing, Grace Charles, Philip Ciulla, Luke De Jonge, Erika Demarteau, Connor Doak, Jasmine Dunn, Cionne Fage, Joseph Gorman, Nathan Griffiths, Tempeny Gurney, Madeleine Jones, Caiden Lionetti, Tamara Lowry, Megan Lynch, Cody Marsden, Kealen Oorschot, Darcy Piercey, Sidney Pritchard, Sian Ransley, Damon Scamozzi, Casey Shields, Ashleigh Smith, Jack Steel, Pongpon Thongdeesan, Taliah Williamson and Megan Winter.
